I only had to activate the portals and start the base there before I got friendly. maybe start there first to avoid the back-and-forth.Īfter you do the first four (Azsuna, Val'Sharah, Highmountain, Stormheim), head into Suramar. unless you are a warrior with the Legion base, as you get dropped into the middle and can go from there instead. The most annoying one is Stormheim as you have to go all the way back to Stormwind to then take the airship out to start the chain.
So I found myself doing about twenty quests per zone.
Some quests give only ten rep, but turned out that others are around 250, which convinced me to plow through it. I ended up getting sixty by the time I got to Argus, which made that area trivial when things died in one hit on my enhance shaman. so roughly six hours from start to unlock of the races. Only have to get friendly, which helps, and I actually managed to do it in the span of an afternoon.
